Job Description
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field
8+ years of experience in automotive trim design (interior and exterior).
SolidWorks knowledge is a must.
:
Design and development of interior and exterior trim systems for fire truck cabins, including CAD modeling, material selection, and interface with structural components.
including electrical, HVAC design teams to ensure seamless integration of trim components.
Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities e.g., fit & finish, vibration testing, flammability, thermal aging.
Translate regulatory requirements into robust and manufacturable trim designs, ensuring durability, ergonomics, and compliance.
Monitor regulatory changes related to cabin materials, flammability standards, and occupant safety, and implement necessary design updates
Knowledge of NVH, ergonomics, and safety regulations related to trims
Working knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, and fastening techniques
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
