OHL DESIGN REVIEW ENGINEER

Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Previous experience of minimum 10-15 Years as Consultant / EPC is required
Experience in Substation Projects - 132kV, 220kV & 400kV Level.

Should have knowledge of all relevant standards and guidelines i.e. TRANSCO, OETC, ADDC, SEC and KSA standards including the Grid Codes, IEC, IEEE, International guidelines etc. Capable to conduct site survey and preparation of design documents (concept design) which includes route drawings. Prepare requisitions and technical evaluation of bids for discipline material and equipment procurement Identifying, evaluating, and resolving Electrical Engineering issues during the EPC phase. Review and approve within the specified approval durations, the EPC Contractor key deliverables and other works within the OHL discipline, ensuring compliance with OHL design requirements Carry out calculations & studies required to finalize OHL equipment specifications and review of calculations, specifications, plans, investigations, surveys, structures, system or equipment with relatively few complex features. Carry out Tower Spotting by using PLS CADD and its review. Review and approve key design documents from Vendors, equipment manufacturers or Subcontractors and prepare comments and recommendations incorporating any comments received from the Owner. Supervise and manage the review and approval of EPC Contractor s work, ensuring compliance with Owner and Project specifications, relevant codes and standards, and industry best practices. Coordinate other discipline Engineers, participation in layout reviews, design reviews, and technical workshops. Review and approve of FAT Reports, SAT Procedures, Method Statements etc. Capable to attend Equipment FAT virtually. Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline Engineers.
