Design Engineer

to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary:

The Design Engineer will be responsible for developing concept designs, preparing detailed shop drawings, and producing fabrication drawings for aluminium and glass doors, windows, and related metal works. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of

5 years' experience

in a similar role within the aluminium and glass industry and should be capable of managing design workflows, coordinating with contractors, and supporting procurement through detailed material lists.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare

concept designs

based on project specifications and client requirements. Develop accurate and detailed

shop drawings

for client/consultant approval. Upon approval, prepare

fabrication drawings

and detailed

material take-offs

. Work closely with project managers and contractors to ensure design intent is understood and implemented. Coordinate design priorities and meet project deadlines effectively. Provide technical support during design review meetings and site coordination. Ensure all designs comply with local codes, safety regulations, and quality standards. Review and modify designs based on feedback or site conditions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree

in Mechanical, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or a related field. Minimum

5 years of experience

in the aluminium and glass industry in the UAE or GCC. Strong knowledge of aluminium systems, glass works, and

metal items

such as canopies and pergolas for villas. Proficiency in AutoCAD, and experience with other design tools such as Revit or SolidWorks is a plus. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong communication skills to interact with contractors and internal teams.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
