Tomorrow are working alongside a global creative studio who specialise in hospitality branding, whose work is shaped by culture, fashion, art, and design. They are committed to creating original brands and relevant experiences with global perspectives and local sensibilities. They are looking to hire a new Design Director who specialises in branding to relocate to their main offices in Dubai. They are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful branding and graphic design, as well as digital and interactive design projects for global clients across Hospitality, Property and Placemaking Well-being and Lifestyle sectors. This will involve hybrid working with 4 day sin the studio, and 1 wfh. They are offering 33,000 AED per month, which translates to a salary of \xc2\xa370,000 per annum. Key Responsibilities:
  • Take client briefs and translate them into project requirements
  • Plan, facilitate and run both client and team meetings / workshops / crits
  • Create strategic directions and positions for brands
  • Define overarching ideas for brand engagement, user experience and digital / interaction design
  • Project management and scheduling of the Brand team workflow, including freelancers and any other (external) members contributing to branding projects; such as researchers, strategists, interior and digital designers etc.
  • Possess good business acumen in regards to the balance of making great design profitable (including service levels, managing scope creep, timekeeping and budgets)
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in creating brand strategy and identities, marketing ideas and communications materials
  • Excellent idea and concept generation abilities
  • Excellent creative business acumen, including financials, operations and processes
  • Extensive experience in designing communication packages and environmental graphics for physical environments
  • Extensive experience in designing uniforms, packaging and production of packaging
  • Experience in designing responsive website interfaces focused on improving both website usability and the user experience (using Figma)
