1. Purpose of the Job:

To coordinate and manage all design-related activities across engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery, compliance with technical standards, and effective communication between design teams and other project stakeholders.

2. Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate the preparation, development, and review of engineering design drawings, technical specifications, and related documentation. Act as a liaison between internal design engineers, project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration and execution of design deliverables. Monitor design schedules and track progress to ensure deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards. Ensure that all design outputs comply with project requirements, relevant engineering codes, and applicable safety regulations. Participate in project meetings to provide design updates and resolve issues or conflicts related to design development. Maintain organized records of design revisions, approvals, and correspondence. Support design change management and ensure timely communication and approval of any revisions. Coordinate with the construction team to ensure design compatibility with site execution. Assist in the implementation of BIM and other digital design tools where applicable.

3. Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field). Chartered Engineer status is preferred but not mandatory. Minimum of 5 years of overall engineering experience, with at least 3 years in the UAE. Must have hands-on experience in the

power

sector, in either a

site

or

engineering design

capacity. Proven background in coordinating multidisciplinary design teams. Candidates with experience in engineering, construction, power, or solar energy sectors are preferred. Proficient in English. Additional language(s) will be an advantage. Proficient in

. Familiarity with

Navisworks

BIM

, or other project coordination tools is a plus.
