Design Architect - UAE Office

We are seeking a Design Architect with expertise in mixed-use, educational, ecotourism, and hospitality design. The role involves contributing significantly to our design capability and participating actively in various stages of project development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in creating the project vision, contributing to conceptual sketches and design reports.
• Actively engage in the design process from the conceptual phase through to construction documentation, ensuring design consistency and accuracy.
• Prepare and develop drawings, models, images, and other design-related documents. Engage in client meetings to discuss design requirements for new constructions, alterations, or refurbishments.
• Collaborate with global design teams and other associated specialists, suppliers or subconsultants, as required.
• Coordinate design aspects across various disciplines, subconsultants, and stakeholders.
• Contribute to project documents (including multi-disciplinary drawings, design reports, technical specifications, etc.) ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards.
• Participate in the preparation of discipline drawings for submission to Statutory Authorities, with an understanding of local & international codes, regulations, and submission requirements.
• Develop models using SketchUp, Lumion, Revit and any other software that deemed necessary.
• Apply "Safety in Design" principles throughout the design process and adhere to ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Structure in projects.
• Support in mentoring less experienced staff and participate in professional development and \xe2\x80\x9cLessons Learned\xe2\x80\x9d sessions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural design on small to medium scale projects.
• Experience from concept through to detailed design in various project types (residential, commercial, hospitality, etc.).
• Proficiency in Revit, 3D rendering software (such as Revit, Sketchup, Twinmotion or Lumion).
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and submission requirements.
• Experience or familiarity with Middle East design and construction practices is advantageous.
• Good project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, capable of collaborative work with clients and team members.
