DHL Global Forwarding United Arab Emirates has an opening for a Design and Deployment Manager OFR GTOM, where your travel will be 75% of time within the MEA countries and where you will be reviewing and designing Ocean Freight workflows throughout the MEA region, through a pragmatic and agile approach, focusing on the business processes (SOPs) and operating domain structures. Deploy the global standard processes and workflows; to sustain quality, unlock economies of scale and enable continuous improvement, increasing automation and visibility for our people and our customers.

In this Design and Deployment Manager OFR GTOM position
  • You will reduce non-value add activities and drive process standardization.
  • You will assist countries to implement solutions to be as efficient and automated as possible continuing the journey towards digitalization.
  • You will assist countries in defining roles and responsibilities for activities in order to deliver on the service promise.
  • You will Define, document, and communicate \xe2\x80\x9cto be\xe2\x80\x9d process within countries that are in line with Global Standard procedures.
  • You will ensure that OFR mandatory services are being utilized within countries in collaboration with GSC and to eliminate nonvalue adding services.
  • You will ensure that 1F1O concept is rolled out in all countries and reduce / limit the number of exceptions for daily operations.
  • You will rollout standard COP process within operations. Ensure that COP\xe2\x80\x99s are available and delivering as per customer promise.
  • You will enhance data quality into daily operations by driving automation / digitalization
  • You will train counties on knowledge of the L4 Global process and the use of Life Cycle Monitor / station metrics for daily operations.
  • You will rollout Booster / GTOM projects, phase 1 & 2. This will be a combination of Gemba walks as well and solution design and coaching.
  • You will follow up on countries where GTOM has been implemented and monitor improvements.
  • You will understand customer and key stakeholders\xe2\x80\x99 interests and concerns and advise direct reports, customers and key stakeholders and build strong, trusting cross-functional relationships with DPDHL managers and Global OFR Team.
  • You will provide technical guidance to line managers and employees and have contact with all countries within MEA.
Now, here\xe2\x80\x99s what we need from you
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification
  • 4 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience or more
  • 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Ocean Freight Forwarding
  • Good knowledge of all tools integrating to CW1, namely: ESP, Quoteshop, EDM etc.
