Diagnose dermatological diseases such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, infections, skin cancers, and allergic reactions.
Treatment Planning:
Develop and implement treatment plans using medications, therapies, or procedures.
Prescribe appropriate creams, ointments, oral medications, or injections.
Recommend lifestyle adjustments or preventive measures to manage skin conditions.
Medical Procedures:
Perform dermatological procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, laser treatments, chemical peels, and minor surgeries.
Ensure sterile and safe practices during all procedures.
Cosmetic Dermatology (if applicable):
Provide aesthetic treatments like Botox, fillers, laser resurfacing, skin rejuvenation, and microneedling.
Advise patients on cosmetic options and skincare routines.
Patient Education:
Educate patients on proper skin care, sun protection, and disease prevention.
Explain treatment plans, possible side effects, and expected outcomes clearly.
Follow-up Care:
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Collaboration & Referrals:
Coordinate with other medical professionals for multidisciplinary care when necessary.
Refer patients to oncologists, surgeons, or other specialists when needed.
Compliance & Ethics:
Adhere to medical laws, ethical standards, and health regulations.
Maintain patient confidentiality and informed consent.
Continuous Learning:
Stay updated with the latest advancements in dermatology.
Attend medical conferences, workshops, and continuing education programs.
