Job Summary:

The Dermatologist Consultant at Al Emadi Hospital is responsible for diagnosing and treating various skin, hair, and nail conditions, providing high-quality patient care, and ensuring the latest medical advancements are incorporated into treatments. The role involves both medical and cosmetic dermatology services while maintaining patient safety and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Duties:

Diagnose and treat skin diseases, infections, allergies, and cosmetic concerns. Perform dermatological procedures, including cryotherapy, laser treatments, and skin biopsies. Provide consultations for acne, eczema, psoriasis, and other dermatological conditions. Conduct aesthetic procedures such as Botox, fillers, PRP, and laser treatments. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Interpret lab results and prescribe appropriate medications or therapies.
Patient Care & Safety:

Ensure a patient-centered approach in treatment and communication. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation. Educate patients on skin health and preventive care measures. Follow hospital policies and infection control protocols.
Professional Development & Collaboration:

Stay updated with the latest dermatology research and treatment advancements. Train and mentor junior doctors and medical staff in the dermatology department. Collaborate with other specialists and departments for multidisciplinary care.
Administrative Duties:

Participate in hospital meetings, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives. Comply with Qatar's Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) regulations and licensing requirements. Maintain records and adhere to insurance and hospital documentation standards.
