Primary purpose of job
The Derivatives Analyst, Trading will be responsible for performing trade verification on Exchange and OTC (Over The
Counter) transactions, support margin management, perform daily and monthly broker reconciliations, OTC Settlements
and manage fees.
Experience & Skills

  • 5 years of work-based experience in Commodity/Energy derivatives analysis and control is necessary with both OTC and
Exchange Traded derivatives. Strong knowledge of Reconciliations for derivatives transactions.
  • Experience in checking and reconciling brokerage statements.
  • Experience in working with CTRMS's, SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Digitalization Experts - Someone who is strong in MS excel holding the ability to create VBA codes building macros would
be an advantage to automate manual ways of working
  • Proven communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent team working and networking skills
  • Self-starter, able to take complete ownership and finish tasks to tight timelines
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, positive and proactive
  • Demonstrate QatarEnergy Values and behaviors.
Education
  • Qualified Accountant: ICAEW (Chartered Accountants of England & Wales) I CPA (USA) I CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent from an internationally recognized
university. Postgraduate Qualification (MSc. or MBA) is considered a plus.
