The railway will redefine logistics and transport in the region, providing a modern, safe, efficient and sustainable network which will connect the seven emirates of the UAE to its neighbouring GCC countries.

As the Deputy Rolling Stock Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Rolling Stock Lead in various project execution phases including procurement, design review, manufacturing, commissioning, and acceptance of multiple types of rolling stock. You will provide specialist technical services for the design review, manufacture, assembly, testing and acceptance of rolling stock. You will have the opportunity to proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential problems, and devise contingency plans. You will help drive project schedule for design, project milestones, delivery and acceptance and effectively communicate and manage project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. You will be responsible for ensuring the rolling stock assets are delivered in accordance with the Employer's requirements and meet key performance indicators, the deliverables are produced in line with the project quality system and the provision of a safe and fit for purpose rolling stock.
Here's What You'll Need:

As a successful candidate you will have a Bachelor of Science, BEng, or Equivalent with a minimum 10 years' experience within rolling stock industry out of which at least 5 years are in the design or maintenance management and project execution. You will have good knowledge in manufacture and or maintenance of Diesel Multi Units. It is desirable if you have experience in Middle East.

It would be advantageous if you have experience in the design management or maintenance and or manufacture of Yellow Plants/Track Maintenance Plants. Professional Engineer status (desirable).
