Position : Deputy Quality Manager - Testing

Areas of responsibility

Responsible for final testing, electrical laboratories, non-electrical laboratories and fire


laboratory


Responsible of final testing and laboratories team and their motivation


Ensure that testing areas all safe for work


Reporting any un-safe condition in testing areas


Ensure that all laboratories equipments are calibrated and working perfectly


Ensure that testing are conducted as per latest standards and customer requirements


Ensure that all tests work instructions are updated with safety and standards requirements


Give continuous feed back to the production about the result of testing


Responsible of raising and follow up for any non-conformity occurs


Ensure that all cables are released in the system after testing


Preparing the weekly test planning


Responsible of continuous upgrade for faraday cage and the field test


Ensure that FAT, ITP & QCP are prepared and followed as per customer requirements


To check the Technical Data Sheet for comments


Prepare Technical Test Plan to Physical and Electrical Lab according to the required Standards


(IEC,BS,ASTM&UL)


Issue all the test reports


Follow up of any sales request: samples, qualification files


Responsible of any inspection requested by Kahramaa at company or at KM WHS


Conducting TPI & FAT in presence of customers


Handling any customer claim by conducting site visit and proposing technical solution


Follow up customers clarifications


Perform any other related activities as may assigned

Required skills and qualifications

Graduate of Electrical Engineering course with minimum of 7-10 years work related experience


Excellent communication skills


Shows strong initiative and adaptable to change


Has a capability to understand customers' requirements and constraints (internally and


externally)


Has a capability to perform all routine, sample and type tests for LV, MV & HV cables


Has a capability to understand international standards


Has a capability to objectively assess the degree of compliance to a referential or standard for a


process or activity
