About the role
We are looking for a highly skilled, ambitious Deputy Principal with significant experience of working in an outstanding setting to join our Executive Leadership Team, for an April or September 2023 start. The successful candidate will have proven success in driving standards, be committed to the pursuit of excellence and be able to effectively lead and embed rigorous accountability procedures.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- To embody the values, vision and ethos of GEMS Royal Dubai School and assist the Principal/CEO in formulating policy which will ensure high quality and successful outcomes at all levels
- To support the Principal/CEO in achieving the key strategic objectives for the school through formulating and leading on specific aspects of the school improvement plan
- To support the Principal/CEO in the recruitment of well qualified, high-quality staff
- To be responsible for the monitoring, evaluation and continuous review of the quality and effectiveness of learning & Teaching and curriculum delivery within the school.
- Be an effective and dynamic leader with a proven track record in school improvement that can be demonstrated through hard data
- Be rigorous in promoting excellence and developing commitment to high standards of care and opportunities for all
- Be able to demonstrate successful experience of leading and managing staff including promoting and developing innovative approaches to learning
- Demonstrate effective leadership of high performing teams that has ultimately led to an improvement in student outcomes.
- Hold a further Leadership Qualification eg NPQSL, NPQH
