The Role
Position Title: HSE Manager Employment Type: Full Time Salary: up to 45K all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications Job Location: DIP, Dubai, UAE About the Client: One of the leading manufacturers of steel structures in the Middle East, apart from being the market leader in UAE : ? Develop and maintain the company EHS policies and Management System with the assistance of Directors and managers. ? Advise management on all matters of environmental health and safety. ? Keep himself informed on any new legislation and codes of practice and initiatives. ? Demonstrate EHS support and commitment by personal example and behavior. ? Co-ordinate the implementation of the environmental health and safety management system to ensure Company policy and standards are met in line with legal requirements. ? Review risk assessments and method statements were required to do so. ? Identify areas of safety training deficiencies and inform site management/Project Manager/General Manager as appropriate. ? Carry out safety inspections and report in writing and advise on corrective action. ? Carry out internal and external safety audits in line with company procedures.
Requirements
Qualifications: ? Open to Emirati nationals ? Male, 50 years old and below ? Degree in Engineering field e.g. Mechanical, Chemical or any relevant discipline ? Must have Degree/Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or related discipline ? At least 6 years of experience in HSE Field in manufacturing / industrial firms, and at least 3 years as Head of Department ? Lead assessor in auditing of either-ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 is required ? Well versed with the Occupational Safety and Health Act, Risk assessment / hazard identification
