• The Deputy Headteacher should hold as a minimum, a B.Ed. or B.A & PGCE / PGDE or equivalent. Tertiary qualifications such as NPQH or NPQSL is desirable but not essential.

• Outstanding Leader with a minimum of 5 years of leadership and management experience as a Senior Leader in a Secondary phase with a proven track record of school improvement; improving teaching and raising standards in a demanding environment.

• A commitment to deliver on the Director of Education & Board of Directors\xe2\x80\x99 educational vision for the school, and work along with the Head of Secondary &/or Principal to shape the school\xe2\x80\x99s strategic direction in leading the school on its journey to outstanding.
• A creative practitioner and a highly effective leader who leads by example and can inspire and motivate & develop excellence in others through coaching and mentoring
• Has extensive knowledge and leadership experience of using data, monitoring & self-evaluation to promote improvement
• Build and develop highly effective teams, organisational structures and academic processes with an ability to delegate work and support colleagues in undertaking their responsibilities.

• Ability to remain positive and enthusiastic when working under pressure
