Job Description

Job Summary:

The Deputy Foreman assists the Foreman in supervising piling and enabling works activities on construction sites. The role ensures that all works are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and quality standards. The Deputy Foreman also acts as the point of supervision for workers in the absence of the Foreman.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Site Supervision:

Assist the Foreman in supervising piling rigs, equipment, and work crews. Ensure that tasks are carried out according to the project schedule, specifications, and approved drawings.

Coordination:

Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and other site personnel to ensure smooth workflow. Support in planning and organizing daily tasks for workers.

Safety Compliance:

Enforce health and safety regulations on site. Conduct regular safety inspections and report hazards.

Quality Control:

Monitor piling and enabling work to ensure compliance with technical standards and quality requirements. Report any non-conformance issues to the Foreman or General Foreman.

Resource Management:

Assist in managing materials, tools, and equipment for efficient site operations. Ensure proper handling and storage of piling machinery and consumables.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain daily progress reports and log activities as required. Assist in recording man-hours, equipment usage, and material consumption.

Problem Solving:

Identify on-site issues and assist the Foreman in resolving technical or operational problems. Provide guidance and support to workers to improve productivity.

Backup Role:

Act as the Foreman's deputy, taking full responsibility for the site crew in the Foreman's absence.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
