Role Summary
The Department Manager is responsible for leading the department team, managing operations, merchandising, and stock control, and consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets while upholding Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle service and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Maintain store standards across cleanliness, tidiness, visual presentation, and replenishment
• Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales data to identify opportunities and maximize sales
• Lead the team to deliver excellent customer service aligned with brand CX standards, customer needs, and market trends
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly, escalating when required
• Ensure stock availability on the shop floor and coordinate timely replenishment
• Collaborate with the management team to ensure regular, role-relevant training for all team members
• Foster a positive, collaborative working culture across colleagues and management
• Oversee cashing-up procedures at opening and closing, including cash counts, vouchers, charge slips, drawer balancing, and deposits

Ideal Profile

• 3 to 4 years of experience in the furniture retail industry
• Strong ability to collaborate across departments and promote teamwork
• Proven capability to set, communicate, and achieve team targets
• Proactive leadership approach with openness to new ideas and continuous improvement
