We are seeking a skilled and licensed Dental Assistant with a DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Support:
Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring efficient and smooth chairside support.
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials.
Patient Care:
Greet and prepare patients for dental procedures, making them comfortable and addressing any concerns.
Provide clear instructions to patients regarding oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Instrument Sterilization:
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the treatment area.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
Document treatment information in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Radiography:
Take and process dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.
Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols.
Educational Support:
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Provide information on post-operative care instructions.
Assist with Administrative Tasks:
Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar.
Handle patient inquiries and coordinate with front desk staff as needed.
Infection Control:
Adhere to strict infection control measures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Follow established protocols for infection prevention and control.
Qualifications:
DHA License:
Possession of a valid DHA license as a Dental Assistant.
Education:
Completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
Experience:
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in dental software, X-ray equipment, and other dental tools.
Communication Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
