Key Responsibilities:
Patient Preparation:
Greeting and seating patients, taking vital signs (blood pressure, pulse), reviewing medical history, and explaining procedures.
Assisting During Procedures:
Handing instruments to the dentist, operating suction equipment, holding retractors, and preparing materials like impression material.
Sterilization and Organization:
Sterilizing instruments, maintaining a clean and organized treatment room, and ensuring proper infection control protocols are followed.
Taking X-rays:
take dental x-rays, including positioning the patient and equipment, and developing the images.
Patient Education and Communication:
Explaining oral hygiene instructions, answering patient questions, and providing post-operative care instructions.
Record Keeping:
Documenting treatment information, scheduling appointments, and updating patient records.
Inventory Management:
Monitoring dental supply levels and ordering new supplies as needed.

Laboratory Tasks:
Preparing materials for impressions or temporaries, under the direction of a dentist.

Essential Skills:
Communication Skills: Effectively communicating with patients and the dental team.
Organization and Detail-Oriented: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace and paying close attention to detail.
Ability to Work as a Team: Collaborating effectively with dentists and other dental staff.

Dexterity and Manual Skill: Performing tasks requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Adjusting to different situations and troubleshooting issues that may arise.
Educational Requirements:
certificate or diploma from an accredited dental assisting program.

Tagalog language is preferable

MOH license is a must
