: Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Dental Assistant

Our growing dental clinic, located on Al Wasl Road, is looking for a

highly experienced Dental Assistant with strictly Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery assisting experience

. The ideal candidate must have

a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience assisting an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

in minor and intermediate surgical procedures, and hold a

valid DHA Dental Assistant license

.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon chairside during surgical procedures including dental implants, surgical extractions, biopsies, cyst enucleation, and minor oral surgeries. Prepare and set up surgical treatment rooms following strict aseptic and sterile protocols. Assist during local anesthesia administration, suturing, and surgical procedures within the clinic scope. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning before, during, and after procedures. Handle, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments and implant kits. Assist in post-operative instructions and patient follow-up coordination. Maintain accurate surgical records and documentation.

Requirements:

Valid DHA Dental Assistant License (Required). Minimum 3 years of continuous experience assisting an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon (mandatory). Experience limited to clinic-based oral surgery procedures only. No involvement in major surgeries such as orthognathic surgery or cleft lip/palate cases. Strong knowledge of surgical asepsis, infection control, and OMS clinical protocols. Familiarity with implant systems, surgical extraction instruments, and biopsy handling. Ability to work efficiently in a surgical environment with high attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a calm, professional demeanor. Availability to work 6 days per week. Strict commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and clinical excellence.
