Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and DHA-licensed Dental Assistant (Registered Nurse or Dental Assistant) to support daily clinical operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with dentists to provide high-quality patient care, manage clinical instruments, maintain infection control standards, and ensure smooth workflow inside the clinic.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support

Assist dentists during all dental procedures such as fillings, root canals, crowns, veneers, extractions, scaling, whitening, etc.

Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring all instruments and equipment are clean, sterilized, and ready.

Take and record vital signs, medical history, and patient information.

Perform chairside assistance with excellent time management and precision.

Handle digital X-rays, intraoral scanners, and other dental equipment (training can be provided if needed).

Infection Control & Sterilization

Follow strict infection control protocols according to DHA standards.

Sterilize instruments using autoclaves and maintain sterilization logs.

Disinfect treatment areas before and after each patient.

Ensure proper handling and disposal of clinical waste.

Patient Care

Provide pre- and post-treatment instructions to patients.

Calm and support patients during procedures.

Maintain a patient-centered approach with strong communication and empathy.

Administrative Tasks

Assist with scheduling, billing, and documentation when required.

Update patient records and ensure accuracy in the system.

Coordinate with lab technicians for cases related to prosthetics, veneers, crowns, and aligners.

Compliance

Ensure all clinical operations meet DHA regulations, safety requirements, and quality standards.

Maintain updated CPR/BLS certification.

Participate in clinic training and audits.

Qualifications

DHA License as a Registered Nurse or Dental Assistant (required).

Minimum 1 year of experience in dental or medical field (freshers with DHA license can be considered).

Strong knowledge of infection control, sterilization, and dental procedures.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with professionalism.

Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
