REPONSIBILITIES: \xc2\xb7 Prepares and maintains dental instruments, treatment, supplies and equipment. \xc2\xb7 Process and save the file for dental radiographs and performs independent procedures as delegated and directed by the dentist in accordance with the Company/ Facility procedures \xc2\xb7 Process CBCT and X-rays and complete administrative tasks as required \xc2\xb7 Maintains dental department equipment and work areas in compliance with company and facility procedures relatively to infection control and safety issues, including the sterilization of all reusable dental instruments and equipment and the proper disposal of all contaminated or potentially contaminated materials. \xc2\xb7 Keeps accurate records of patient current medical history and dental charting. \xc2\xb7 Monitors patient during Nitrous Oxide sedation in accordance to company and facility policies and procedures. \xc2\xb7 Performs oral hygiene instructions. \xc2\xb7 Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks ensuring effective functioning of the area. \xc2\xb7 Book patient for appointment, procedure, or treatment according to treatment plan. \xc2\xb7 Follow up on patient\xe2\x80\x99s diagnostic tests and coordinate with the dentist for informing patients about their results, treatment, or if a follow up is needed with the dentist. \xc2\xb7 Maintains accurate and thorough documentation as per company and facility policies and procedures in an utmost confidentiality. \xc2\xb7 Demonstrates delivery of safe and appropriate dental care according to standards of care. \xc2\xb7 Maintains a safe environment for patients, co-workers, visitors and others by following facility and company policy in reporting of equipment failures, safety and security issues. \xc2\xb7 Demonstrates effective communication and good customer service skills when interacting with the interdisciplinary team, patients, families and others. \xc2\xb7 Supports the effective functioning of unit routine, i.e., preparation of charts (screening); use of electronic record system, update of patient records and preparation in view of day schedule. \xc2\xb7 Keep treatment rooms stocked and clean prior and after patient has been seen. REQUIREMENTS: \xc2\xb7 DHA License/ Eligibility Letter \xc2\xb7 Graduate of General Nursing Bachelor\'s Degree. \xc2\xb7 Must be living in United Arab Emirates \xc2\xb7 BLS certification. QUALIFICATIONS: \xc2\xb7 Preferred with previous experience as a Dental Assistant. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control practices. \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. \xc2\xb7 Empathetic and patient-centred approach to patient care. \xc2\xb7 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. \xc2\xb7 Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. \xc2\xb7 Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes. \xc2\xb7 Relevant dental assisting certification or training is a plus.
