Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present high-quality dishes within your assigned section.
Ensure consistent preparation and presentation according to set standards.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety at all times.
Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
Assist with stock control and ordering as needed.
Train and guide Commis Chefs and kitchen helpers.
Follow the directions of the senior chefs and work as a team to meet service deadlines.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Commis Chef.
Formal culinary training or relevant certifications are highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of Mediterranean, Lebanese, and international cuisines.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Passion for food preparation and creativity in presentation.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
