Ensuring all food hygiene and health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to and implements any legislation as required by UAE Law.
Knowledge of all food standard procedures, quality presentation, service and products.
A good understanding and knowledge of the kitchen.
Knowledge of food trends and special seasonal food.
Ability to assess quality control and adhere to service standards.
Knowledge of the local food laws.
To ensure that the mise-en place is correct to enhance the service times.
To conserve energy and water.
To minimize operating cost y using all equipment and products in accordance with set guidelines and ensure all equipment is turned off at the end of the shift.
To acknowledge returning and regular clients.
To assist the Sous Chef when required.
