Job Description

We are looking for a talented and passionate Demi Chef De Partie with previous experience in an upscale hotel/restaurant and a strong background to manage all food production within the kitchen area.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage the development and supervision of the chefs in the kitchen, ensuring they are trained and fulfil their duties. Ensure that dishes are prepared and cooked according to the specific restaurant standards. Ensure that stock is rotated and controlled within the specific section of the kitchen. Ensure the cleaning schedule is adhered to and that cleaning tasks are delegated accordingly. Ensure full understanding of the functional administration of the restaurant. Maintain a detailed knowledge of the menu and should have the capability to explain the dish descriptions. Ensure all policies, procedures, standards and guidelines are carefully adhered to for all health and safety at the workplace. To have full knowledge to act upon the fire procedures as set out in the Company Handbook.

Key Requirements:

Good understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills. Understanding and knowledge of food safety, sanitation and food handling procedures with a commitment to quality of service is a must. Previous kitchen section supervisory experience and PIC Certification are required Good communication and interpersonal skills are required Ability to take ownership and work in a team environment while effectively working calmly under pressure. Must have problem-solving abilities, be organized and be self-motivated.

Pay: Up to AED3,000.00 per month
