Key Responsibilities



Assist the

Chef de Partie

in managing a designated kitchen section (e.g., grill, pastry, larder). Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to restaurant standards. Follow recipes, portion controls, and plating guidelines. Monitor food quality, freshness, and consistency. Ensure compliance with

food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP)

. Maintain cleanliness of workstations and kitchen equipment. Manage mise en place and ensure readiness for service. Support inventory control and notify seniors of stock needs. Supervise and guide

Commis Chefs

during prep and service. Assist in new menu development, tastings, and food trials. Uphold company policies, kitchen procedures, and culinary standards.

Skills & Qualifications



Previous experience as a

Commis Chef

or Demi CDP. Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and teamwork abilities. High attention to detail and presentation. Basic understanding of food cost and portion control.
