Novotel & Adagio Premium Dubai Al Barsha is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Demi Chef de Partie to contribute to our kitchen's success and delight our guests with exceptional cuisine.
Assist the Sous Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations for your assigned section
Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to our restaurant's standards and recipes
Ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation across all dishes
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of dishes
Contribute creative ideas for menu development and improvement
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff members
Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
Adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Communicate effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure guest satisfaction
Qualifications
Prior experience as a Demi Chef De Partie or in a similar culinary role
Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Detail-oriented with a focus on food quality and presentation
In-depth understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Creative approach to food preparation and presentation
Effective time management and organizational skills
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Culinary diploma or relevant certification (preferred)
Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
