, you will support the Chef de Partie in the preparation and service of high quality dishes. You will take responsibility for a specific section of the kitchen ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standard while maintaining a clean and efficient work environment. You will also contribute to the training of junior staff and uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Chef de Partie in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes.
Take responsibility for a section of the kitchen under supervision.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and follow health and safety regulations.
Work closely with Commis Chefs, supporting their development and training.
Ensure consistent portion sizes and quality control of all dishes leaving the kitchen.
Help ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and meets service demands during busy periods.
Report any equipment issues or food quality concerns to the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years experience in a professional kitchen, ideally within a catering, hotel or high end restaurant environment.
Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
Passion for food and a desire to develop your culinary skills.
Team player with good communication skills.
Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene (HACCP).
Culinary qualification or equivalent training is preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Must be available in UAE for immediate interview and joining.
