Job Description
Food Preparation
: Prepare and cook dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and specifications, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.Station Management
: Oversee a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., sauces, vegetables, or desserts), ensuring efficient operation and timely service.Supervision
: Assist in supervising junior cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.Inventory Management
: Manage stock levels, order fresh produce, and minimize waste by following proper food handling and storage procedures.Hygiene and Safety
: Uphold strict hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen, including regular cleaning of workstations and adherence to health regulations.Collaboration
: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service, especially during busy periods. 5 SourcesRequired Skills and Qualifications
Culinary Training
: Completion of a culinary degree or equivalent certification from a recognized institution.Experience
: Typically requires 3-5 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with prior roles as a Chef de Partie or similar position.Technical Skills
: Proficiency in various cooking methods, food safety protocols, and recipe development.Communication
: Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and management.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
