Job Description

We are looking for Demand Planner, who will be responsible for forecasting, analyzing, and planning product demand to ensure optimal stock levels and smooth distribution of baby products across various channels. The role requires close coordination with sales, marketing, procurement, and warehouse teams to align demand forecasts with supply capabilities, thereby supporting business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and update demand forecasts for products using historical data, sales trends, and market insights. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to gather inputs for accurate demand planning. Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability across distribution channels. Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely replenishment and avoid stock-outs or overstocking. Conduct regular demand and supply reviews, identifying gaps and proposing corrective actions. Analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer behavior to refine demand forecasts. Track key demand planning KPIs (forecast accuracy, service level, inventory turnover, etc.). Prepare and present demand planning reports to management for decision-making. Support new product launches with forecast analysis and initial stocking strategies. Work closely with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth distribution and order fulfillment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience (3-5 years) in demand planning, preferably products distribution. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel and demand planning tools/software. Knowledge of inventory management principles and supply chain processes. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across multiple teams. Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
