Demand Management Specialist Grade: 6 Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia JOB PURPOSE BAE Systems is the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Saudi Maintenance and Supply Chain Management Company (SMSCMC), a BAE Systems majority owned joint venture Company as a Governance Manager. The successful individual will be working for a company at the forefront of BAE Systems' commitment to industrialise the supply chain in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Working across the SMSCMC Functions and Project Teams will offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the development and growth of SMSCMC in KSA. The Successful candidate will provide specialist knowledge in the areas of delivery of demands including generation, receipt, validation, prioritisation, solution, process and progression of demand through the system to achieve contractual requirements. This includes all tooling and equipment necessary. Also experienced on the resolution of issues and priority parts including alternative parts/solutions via integrated functional solutions. Uses information and applies a level of analysis to aid demand management and achieve contractual requirements. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES Responsible for: Developing and producing the optimum Demand Management solution with, as applicable, the Customer, Maintenance Tasking & Verification team(s), Part 145 organisation(s), Order Book Managers, Procurement, Suppliers and all other key stakeholders, in order to deliver the required standards of Continuing Airworthiness and contract delivery. Liaise with other Demand Management teams, to ensure consistency. Developing and delivering the Demand Management capabilities (including IT infrastructure), and align with current and future business strategies. Interfacing with platform maintenance & upgrade operations to ensure that appropriate and timely demands are placed on, and responded to by the supply chain. Including the presentation of material supplied to maintenance in appropriate formats and timescales. The management of calibrated items through the timely return to industry and return serviceable of assets ensuring tesing/tooling capability is not compromised. Delivering a robust and cost effective demand validation process, ensuring that the correct specification of items are sourced through the correct channels Delivering an effective priority management process to meet customer/contract critical demand. Ensure that all available options for demand resolution are exhausted within the fastest means possible, whilst ensuring compliance. Delivering an effective reporting/metrication capability in order to articulate and manage Demand Management performance. Ensure trends are identified and escalated, as appropriate. RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION The post holder must: · Have recent in-depth experience within a Supply Chain Demand Management role in support of Maintenance /after sales market environments. · Show the ability to operate effectively with people, stakeholders and customer (Varying cross functional teams, RSAF and MODSAP) · Have a formal qualification NVQ3/Degree in either Demand Management / Project Management / Business related area. · Demonstrate experience with Continuous Improvement, Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving tools & techniques · Have knowledge of Project Planning/Management tools & techniques EXPATRIATE EMPLOYEE BENEFITS In return for the required high levels of commitment and hard work you will receive a competitive salary, rent free accommodation and access to free recreation facilities, all available within Company secured accommodation.
