JOB DESCRIPTION
15+ years of experience in IT with a minimum of 5+ years in test governance, test strategy, or QA leadership roles. Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC), QA methodologies, and industry standards. Hands-on experience with test management and automation tools. Familiarity with regulatory environments (e.g., financial services, healthcare) is a plus. Experience in managing vendor-led QA or outsourced testing environments. Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation skills. Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or other scaled agile methodologies. Certifications like ISTQB Advanced, TMMi Assessor, PMP, or SAFe Agile are desirable. Testing Governance & Strategy Define, implement, and evolve enterprise-level testing governance frameworks, policies, and standards. Establish consistent testing methodologies across Agile, DevOps, and traditional delivery models. Align testing governance with organizational risk, compliance, and quality goals. Process Oversight & Compliance Monitor testing processes and ensure adherence to governance policies across all projects and teams. Conduct regular health checks, audits, and quality assessments to ensure process compliance and continuous improvement. Ensure testing metrics and KPIs are defined, measured, and reported to key stakeholders. Stakeholder Management Act as the central point of contact for testing governance across business units, QA teams, and third-party vendors. Collaborate with program managers, delivery leads, business analysts, and technical leads to drive quality assurance objectives. Tooling & Automation Alignment Provide guidance on the selection and governance of test tools, automation frameworks, and test management platforms (e.g., JIRA, ALM, Selenium, Tosca). Support integration of testing tools with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Leadership & Mentorship Mentor and guide QA leads and testers on best practices in governance, defect management, test strategy, and risk
