Job Description

A delivery driver is responsible for transporting goods to customers, ensuring timely and safe delivery while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Transport Goods

: Deliver packages and other items to designated locations, following assigned routes and schedules.

Load and Unload

: Safely load and unload items from the delivery vehicle, ensuring that goods are handled with care to prevent damage.

Customer Interaction

: Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns during the delivery process.

Route Navigation

: Use GPS and navigation tools to determine the most efficient delivery routes, adjusting as necessary for traffic and weather conditions.

Documentation

: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking numbers, delivery times, and customer signatures.

Vehicle Maintenance

: Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and regularly checked for mechanical issues to ensure safe operation.

Compliance

: Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving and delivering goods.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Driving License

: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.

Time Management

: Strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules and ensure timely deliveries.

Physical Stamina

: Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.

Customer Service

: Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing a positive customer experience.

Problem-Solving

: Ability to handle unexpected issues, such as traffic delays or customer complaints, in a professional manner.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR1,800.00 - QAR2,000.00 per month

Doha: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
Experience:

DELIVERY DRIVER: 3 years (Required)
Language:

ENGLISH, BASIC ARABIC OR HINDI (Required)
License/Certification:
