Safely operate a 3-ton delivery vehicle to transport cleaning equipment and supplies.
Plan delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely arrival at client locations.
Load and unload equipment with care, ensuring no damage occurs during transit.
Customer Interaction:
Communicate effectively with clients upon delivery, providing information about the products delivered.
Address any customer inquiries or concerns professionally and courteously.
Vehicle Maintenance:
Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly.
Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior.
Documentation:
Complete delivery paperwork accurately, including invoices, receipts, and delivery confirmations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries made, including mileage logs.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere strictly to all local traffic laws and regulations while driving.
Follow company safety protocols regarding loading/unloading procedures.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license.
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred.
Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
Good communication skills with a focus on customer service.
Ability to lift heavy objects safely.
