Key Responsibilities: Safe Driving: Operate the delivery vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws. Route Navigation: Follow designated routes and use GPS or other navigation tools efficiently. Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload packages from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage. Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, including confirming deliveries and handling customer questions or concerns. Time Management: Deliver packages on time, adhering to delivery schedules. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate delivery records and reports. Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure safe operation. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. Problem Solving: Address any issues that arise during deliveries, such as lost packages or delivery errors, and communicate them to the supervisor. Physical Requirements: Be able to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs. Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers. Customer Service: Be courteous, respectful, and helpful to customers. Payment Collection: If applicable, collect payments from customers.
