Delivery Assistant -
Position Overview:
A Delivery Assistant supports drivers in transporting goods safely and efficiently. The role involves loading and unloading items, confirming deliveries, providing customer service, and ensuring timely and accurate distribution of products.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the delivery driver in planning and executing delivery routes.
Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle safely and efficiently.
Verify items during pickup and drop-off to ensure accuracy.
Handle goods with care to prevent damage.
Communicate professionally with customers and obtain signatures when required.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
Assist with navigating and providing directions when needed.
Follow company safety procedures and comply with traffic regulations.
Report any delivery issues, delays, or damaged items to the supervisor.
Support warehouse staff with packing and organizing items when not on delivery runs.
Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Pay-1200-1500 AED
