Decorative Painter (Fit-Out Works)

Job Summary:

The Decorative Painter is responsible for performing high-quality decorative painting and finishing works on interior fit-out projects. The role involves applying specialized painting techniques to walls, ceilings, furniture, and other surfaces to enhance the aesthetic appeal of commercial, residential, and hospitality interiors. The painter must be skilled in color matching, texture finishes, and artistic effects while ensuring a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and smooth surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer before decorative work. Apply various decorative finishes such as texture paint, metallic paint, stencil designs, faux finishes, marble effects, and wood graining. Mix and match paints and coatings to achieve the required colors and effects. Follow design drawings, color samples, and instructions from designers, engineers, or supervisors. Ensure proper masking, covering, and protection of surfaces not to be painted. Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas during and after completion of painting tasks. Perform touch-ups, repairs, and maintenance of decorative finishes as needed. Coordinate with other site teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion. Adhere to company safety standards and use appropriate PPE at all times.
