Job Objective:: Planning\xe2\x80\x99s objectives, proposing effective solutions as well as providing technical feedback on all aspects of Transmission and Datacom Design and Planning, ensuring compliance with standards, enhancement of operational effectiveness and expansion across the function.

Job Specifications:: Transmission & Datacom

Be responsible for deploying network infrastructure across all of our network fabrics that supports the Mobile, Internet Data Broadband Service, and other datacom services.
Deploy, scale and automate our network across multiple local and global network nodes. This includes existing footprints and greenfield locations.
Drive the planning & Optimization for current and future, by scaling of current network designs to meet the demand of our customers.
Create simple, repetitive deployment processes that increase both velocity and quality.
Work closely with our internal customers on designs/solutions, bringing those designs/solutions from concept to production.
Create and update our network standards and ensure that the network is deployed to these standards.
Create and implement changes on the network.
Work closely with our automation teams in defining the tools that allow us to scale at unprecedented volume.
Perform day-to-day transmission and data communication operational tasks of the section to deliver on specific operational objectives and enhance operational effectiveness.
Participate in the planning and development of Transmission Network design and its related services to meet business requirements.
Coordinate operational activities of the team to promote a culture of high performance and teamwork across the department.
Propose solutions and provide technical feedback on all aspects of transmission and datacom design and planning to external partners\xe2\x80\x99 Transmission Team to enhance the section\xe2\x80\x99s performance.
Provide support and clear instructions to teams on specific projects and work tasks including reporting on the implementation of planned expansion, network upgrades, etc. to ensure continuous project status updates and achievement of Transmission and Datacom objectives.
Supervise Acceptance Tests, review acceptance test documentation and sign-off PAC\xe2\x80\x99s / FACs to safeguard adherence to department\xe2\x80\x99s requirements.

Change Management, Continuous Improvement and Compliance

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the department\xe2\x80\x99s systems, processes, and practices considering international best practices, improvement of business processes and cost optimization.

Research relevant regional and global market trends to stay up to date with best practices and drive relevant initiatives for improvements.
Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, as well as to controls related to quality, health, safety, environmental management, guaranteeing employee and assets safety and legislative compliance.

Qualification & Experience::

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Electronic and Telecommunication, IT, Computer Science or any other related field

Minimum 8 years of experience in a Technology and Digital function, specializing in transmission and datacom, ideally in the Telecommunications sector.
