• The successful applicant will work within an integrated team who are responsible for all exploration and development activities of COMPANY. The applicant will support in building and maintaining the Upstream data for cross disciple projects including geology, geophysics, reservoir, drilling and production engineering. At the same time taking ownership of the new Upstream GIS projects for its existing fields and any new data generated as part of the daily/project based activities.
• Populate and Maintain Upstream databases that adequately address business needs right through the E&P lifecycle
• Analyse and interrogate populated data for inconsistencies that may impact the decision-making process
• Evaluate, document and disseminate database changes or refinements for the project team
• Develop and apply best practices when verifying, storing, organising and accessing data
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for effective data governance, auditing, handling and management across the project teams
• Assess upstream systems and workflows and recommend necessary software, hardware and storage upgrades
• Ensure that COMPANY\xe2\x80\x99s data management protocols remain in line with industry and any regulatory standards
• Provide technical guidance and training for Upstream division members
