Install, configure, and maintain database management systems (DBMS) to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.
Monitor database performance and capacity, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Develop and implement backup and recovery plans, disaster recovery procedures, and data retention policies.
Configure and maintain database security settings, user access permissions, and data encryption.
Collaborate with IT teams, developers, and end-users to design, develop, and implement database solutions to support business needs.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in database administration or related roles.
Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and database technologies.
Experience with database administration tools and monitoring utilities.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Certification in database administration (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator) is advantageous.
