Overview:
Are you a qualified and proficient Data Scientist with proven experience in the statistical domain and the ability to drive business growth & operational efficiency? Presight AI needs your skills to develop and deliver diverse data products across the company\xe2\x80\x94including, but not limited to, statistical driven analytics and insights, statistical phenomenological modeling, forecasting, demand modeling, variable change modeling, supply/demand modeling, and simulations.

Key responsibilities
Reporting to the Director - Data Science, you will apply statistical analysis techniques like hypothesis testing, segmentation, modelling, forecasting, and simulations to analyze small and large volumes of data in order to drive business optimization & enhance product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.

- Perform a broad range of statistical quantitative works and simulations, including model development and ad hoc analytics
- Research, compile and evaluate small and large sets of data to assess the quality and determine suitability for model building
- Deliver reports, demos and presentations to stakeholders with the ability to explain results and models from a scientific statistical perspective
- Develop forecasting models, simulations, and statistical phenomenological models
- Develop/maintain internal models and test/configure vendor solutions to ensure conceptually sound design, proper implementation, and acceptable model performance
- Document model development process and outcomes properly and support model validation and review
- Employ innovative techniques to drive continuous improvements in model effectiveness and efficiency, e.g. reducing false positives
- Proactively develop and build technical skills and business knowledge; and effectively collaborate with compliance, technology, and risk partners

The criteria to evaluate your performance would include cost savings achieved, number of use cases investigated + datasets mined & explored, number of existing solutions & processes optimized, number of services and solutions digitized, number of innovations/POCs deployed, and customer NPS. About G42
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in statistics, mathematics, econometrics, finance, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in statistics conducting data-driven projects in the public sector domain
- Possess working knowledge of international statistical standards with preference to UAE-specific standards National Standards for Statistical Data)
- Experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python), and/or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R)
- Demonstrable experience working on projects and delivering simulations an statistical modeling and insights
Ideally, you\xe2\x80\x99ll also need
- Master\xe2\x80\x99s/PhD in a quantitative field with specialized statistical and simulation research experience
- A commitment to research and remaining up-to-date with statistical standards internationally and in the UAE
- A highly data-focused and investigative approach to problem-solving
- In-depth domain and market knowledge
