Hiring: Data Scientist - Algorithmic Trading (Full-Time)

Location: UAE | Salary: AED 5,000 - 8,000/month | Visa: Must have own visa

is seeking a

highly analytical, motivated, and self-driven Data Engineer

to join our growing

algorithmic trading analytics & infrastructure team

.

You will play a key role in developing and maintaining our

scalable historical data systems

--the foundation for all pre/post-trade analytics and quantitative research. This is a rare opportunity to impact the future of our trading infrastructure by collaborating directly with quants and traders to optimize performance and uncover market opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain highly scalable data pipelines and storage systems for

market and execution data

Collaborate with

quant researchers

to support data needs for modeling and back testing. Develop robust infrastructure for

pre/post-trade analytics

, TCA, and reporting Continuously improve system performance and troubleshoot production issues Work hands-on with large, complex

financial datasets

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong experience with

large-scale financial datasets

(market data, trades, orders, positions) Proficiency in

Python (Pandas)

,

R

, or KDB+/Q*
Sound understanding of

regression

,

statistical analysis

, and data modeling Comfortable in a

Linux/Unix environment

Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work autonomously Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Preferred (Bonus) Skills:

Experience with

algorithmic execution

or

TCA

, especially in

futures/cash treasuries

Familiarity with

distributed trading systems

or

parallel computing

Programming in

C++

, building

REST APIs

Knowledge of

Node.js

Angular

, or similar UI frameworks

Requirements:

Experience

: 2+ years in data engineering or data science (preferably in finance)

Visa

: Must

already hold a valid UAE visa

(own/spouse/freelance visa)
