Job Description
Title:Data Management Engineer
Compiles and maintains project documentation files consisting of technical data, engineering/supplier drawings, technical specifications, purchase orders, and other project-required documents. Updates, examines, and maintains project document control record keeping system and verifies completeness and accuracy of data. Prepares transmittals and distributes data as directed. Develops and maintains procedures and standards for maintaining documents and change control of documents, including document development, approval, production, distribution and amendment. Interfaces with reproduction department for required reproduction associated with copy and distribution requirements per project procedures. Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; continuing to build higher-level knowledge and skills. Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction. Uses prescribed guidelines or policies to analyze and resolve problems using applicable experience, judgement, and precedents. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in related field with at least 2 years of related experience; or requires an equivalent combination of related training and experience.
