Job Summary:

The Data Entry Operator will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in company databases and systems. The role requires attention to detail, fast typing skills, and the ability to manage large volumes of information efficiently and confidentially.

Key Responsibilities:

Enter, update, and verify data in databases, spreadsheets, or company systems. Review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before entry. Retrieve, organize, and maintain digital and physical records as required. Prepare and sort documents for data entry and filing. Perform regular data backups to ensure information security and integrity. Generate reports and data summaries as needed by management. Identify and correct data entry errors and maintain high data quality standards. Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion. Coordinate with other departments to collect and verify data inputs. Support administrative and documentation tasks as required.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma or degree in Computer Applications or related field is an advantage. 1-3 years of experience as a Data Entry Operator or in a similar administrative role. Fast and accurate typing skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and data management software. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy. Good communication and teamwork skills.
