Job Summary

The Material Testing Laboratory Data Entry Operator is responsible for accurately entering, managing, and maintaining laboratory test data related to construction materials such as concrete, soil, asphalt, aggregates, and metals. The role supports laboratory operations by ensuring data integrity, proper sample tracking, and timely documentation in compliance with quality standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately enter laboratory and field test results into Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), databases, or spreadsheets. Register incoming samples, assign sample identification numbers, and track sample status. Verify test data against submission forms, test sheets, and standards to ensure accuracy and completeness. Maintain organised records of test results, reports, and sample documentation. Assist in preparing data for laboratory test reports and certifications. Coordinate with laboratory technicians, engineers, and QA/QC staff for data clarification. Ensure confidentiality and integrity of laboratory data. Support administrative tasks such as filing, document control, and record management. Comply with laboratory quality procedures, safety policies, and ISO/ASTM/BS standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Science, or a related field (preferred). 1-2 years of experience in a material testing laboratory or data entry role. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and database systems. Familiarity with construction materials testing (concrete, soil, asphalt, aggregates) is an advantage. Basic knowledge of laboratory standards (ASTM, BS, AASHTO) is preferred. Good organisational and communication skills. Male or Female.

Experience working with LIMS or similar lab software Previous experience in civil, geotechnical, or construction laboratories Understanding of QA/QC documentation and reporting processes.

Pay: AED2,300.00 to AED 2,500.00 per month
