Data Engineer
Job Description
Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with at least 10 years of hands-on expertise in developing ETL pipelines and implementing medallion architecture.
Over 10 years of experience working with banking data, demonstrating deep domain knowledge.
Strong proficiency in data mapping and data profiling--these are essential requirements.
Hands-on experience with Python and SQL for data processing and analysis.
Successfully delivered end-to-end data warehouse/Data Platform deployments, from design to implementation.
Certification in Data lake, Data warehouse Technology Components mainly on Azure.
Technical Skills and Competencies
Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Python, SQL, Java, or Scala to develop data pipelines and applications.
Extensive experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services, including data storage, compute, and security components.
Hands-on experience with Data Bricks for big data processing, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
In-depth knowledge of data modeling techniques and database design principles.
Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques for ingesting data from various sources.
Understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with data warehouse technologies.
