Job Summary:
The Data Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining robust data pipelines, data warehouses, and data infrastructure to support the company's data analytics and business intelligence needs. This individual will work with large datasets from various sources, ensuring data quality, reliability, and accessibility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of data engineering principles, experience in the telecommunications industry, and excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
Responsibilities:

• Data Pipeline Development & Management:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines using ETL/ELT processes.
• Extract, transform, and load data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and streaming platforms.
• Implement data quality checks and validation procedures.
• Optimize data pipelines for performance and efficiency.
• Automate data processing and pipeline management tasks.
• Data Warehouse & Infrastructure Management:

• Design and implement data warehouses and data lakes to support analytical workloads.
• Manage and optimize database systems and data storage solutions.
• Implement data security and access control measures.
• Monitor and maintain data infrastructure performance.
• Ensure data availability and reliability.
• Data Modelling & Architecture:

• Design and implement data models to support business requirements.
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries and metadata repositories.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements.
• Design and implement data governance policies and procedures.
• Telecommunications Data Expertise:

• Understand and work with telecommunications data, including network data, customer data, and usage data.
• Develop data solutions for network optimization, customer segmentation, and churn prediction.
• Implement data solutions to improve service quality and customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with telecommunications data regulations.
• Communication & Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in both Arabic and English.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business users to understand data needs.
• Prepare and present technical reports and documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical updates.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and other relevant languages.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data warehousing technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Knowledge of database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with data modelling and architecture.
• Understanding of telecommunications data and industry practices.
