At Sana Commerce, we\'re looking for a Data Engineer to ensure that all important data is gathered, processed, and made available to the business. You will feed reports and analytics solutions that support our critical business decisions and incorporate new data sources into our environment.

What you\'ll be doing:
  • Building out the data pipeline to accommodate new datapoints;
  • Improving the implementation of our web analytics tracking through Piwik Pro;
  • Deploying the pipelines, ERP data offloaders and reports for new customers;
  • Improving the ERP Data offloader process;
  • Deploying upgrades to the existing pipelines and reports;
  • Performing data modeling and database design to optimize data storage and retrieval;
  • Leveraging Azure DevOps for version control, collaboration, and automation of data-related tasks;
  • Performing data validation when required to ensure the quality and reliability of data, including verification of completeness, accuracy, and conformity to defined standards;
  • Developing and maintaining scripts and automation workflows using Python, C#, and other scripting languages to streamline data processes and tasks.
Qualifications

What you\'ll bring:
  • Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in data engineering environment;
  • College degree that demonstrates your analytic abilities, such as Econometrics, Computer Sciences, Mathematics or similar;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Experience with Azure cloud data infrastructure like Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake storage, PowerBI Embedded;
  • 2+ years of experience in SQL and C#;
  • Experience in Python is a plus.
