Job Overview
As a Data Engineer, you will collaborate with product owners, scrum masters, and solution architects to transform complex data from SAP and non-SAP systems into actionable insights. You'll be responsible for developing robust data pipelines, implementing governance, and ensuring seamless integration with analytics platforms across Azure Synapse, ADF, Databricks, and Power BI.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable and reusable data pipelines using Microsoft Azure and Databricks
• Work closely with business teams to understand data requirements and deliver accurate solutions
• Review business requirements and design appropriate technical solutions
• Govern and implement high-quality, sustainable data solutions across multiple source systems
• Analyze structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data for completeness and business relevance
• Support development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of data pipelines and reporting tools
• Collaborate across cross-functional internal teams and external partners for solution delivery
• Adhere to Agile practices and CI/CD standards to drive performance and deployment efficiency

Job Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering using Azure and Databricks
• 5+ years of experience building cloud-based analytics from concept to delivery
• Proven expertise in Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, ADLS, Databricks, Power BI
• Experience with data integration using REST APIs, on-premise systems, and unstructured sources
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and Agile development
• Strong analytical capabilities, especially with big data and non-relational databases
• Desirable: Azure Stream Analytics, SAP BW/BO, Tableau, Scala, and Azure certifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
