Mark Williams is working with a prestigious investment firm in the UAE, and they are looking to bring in a UAE national Candidate to join their data engineering team focused on the finance domains of Private Equity and Venture Capital

Role:
A data engineer working with both application integration (utilizing APIs and iPaaS) and data integrations (ETL/ELT) in an environment featuring Master Data Management (MDM) and a data warehouse, primarily employing Microsoft Azure and similar services

Responsibilities:

- Gather and prioritize integration & data engineering requirements with business goals
- Implement DevOps/DataOps pipelines to create clean, business-ready data products for automation and analytics
- Maintain relationships with key teams, ensuring best practices and data governance
- Standardize integration and data engineering processes for efficiency and cost reduction
- Promote CI/CD practices for development, testing, and deployment
- Facilitate collaboration between data engineers, ensuring common standards
- Foster teamwork between integrators for automation across various platforms
- Drive adoption of DevOps and DataOps best practices, including version control, testing, and automation

Requirements:

- UAE national with Family book
- Bachelor\'s degree in an IT related field (Masters Degree would be beneficial)
- Minimum of two years of professional experience
- Strong proficiency in data analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL, etc.)
- At least one year of experience as a programmer, with a preference for experience in data engineering or application integration
- A minimum of one year of hands-on experience with hyperscale cloud providers like Azure or AWS
- Hands-on experience or industry certification in iPaaS, such as those offered by Azure or AWS or similar providers
